The location here is great, just a 5-minute walk from Bauhaus-Museum Weimar, which is very convenient.

I booked the junior suite for one night and it was a charming and spacious room. The hotel is centrally located in a good area. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there was a 24-hour reception. The room was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful environment/design/furnishings/view/friendly staff

The personl was very polite and courteous, the breakfast was rich and delicious, but for the price I would have expected a little more.

Unfortunately, the room had been insufficiently cleaned, the bed and the carpet had been soiled in a very unpleasant way by the previous guest( vomit) and only very superficially cleaned, so that the smell was unbearable, the carpet was cleaned again after our advice, but without a thorough examination of the causes and the extent. Unfortunately, we only noticed the whole extent on the day of our departure, after I had followed the matter more intensively and had 2 sleepless nights. For a hotel of this class, this is not to be excused and from my point of view, a basic cleaning with a new mattress and accessories should have been done and no immediate reoccupation of the room should have been done. We described the situation at the reception and got a voucher of 30 euros as an excuse for the inconveniences caused, but let's be honest, in this price range, something like this must not happen, someone could have reacted differently. This weekend was neither relaxing nor was it a pleasant stay. In retrospect I am annoyed that I was not more consequent on the first day and insisted on another room, it was unreasonable. I should have asked another room.

Relaxing and ideal hotel, I really enjoyed its central location really close to restaurants and places, buses to other sights, and Germany. The staff was knowledgeable all the time. There was a nice bar with excellent service...

The hotel has a beautifully decorated lobby and common areas that make you feel like you are stepping back in time. As a senior woman, I appreciated the elegant furnishings and the comfortable seating areas where I could relax and take a break. The hotel is also very accessible for senior people, with well-maintained elevators and clear signage throughout the building.

I would have liked to see more senior-friendly amenities, such as handrails in the hallways and grab bars in the bathrooms. It is important for the children working there to understand that seniors have different needs and should be catered to accordingly.

It was my second time in Russischer Hof, where I stayed last year and truly loved it. Everything was perfect - we asked for a bigger room and received id, the bathroom was splendidly adorned, internet was free and this time we tried the excellent restaurant Anastasia - although it is not officially affiliated with the hotel, it is right there; and it was the best dinner we ever had in Germany. It was a marvelous stay again.

The breakfast was not as good as last year - there were much fewer salads, herring, desserts and no Turingian specialties at all, although sparkling wine was still there.

Comfortable business and tourist hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location in the centre of the small city. Reasonable prices.

As often in Germany, beds are much too soft.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right in the center of town and within walking distance of all the interesting sights. We loved being able to stroll down the street to the local bakery for breakfast. The service here is top-notch. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we were impressed with the room service and housekeeping. The room itself was luxurious and comfortable. We had all the amenities we needed, including a mini-bar and a sitting area. The hotel also provided a welcome drink and offered tours and ticket assistance. the level of comfort and quality service here was exceptional.

We highly recommend this hotel to all.

This old hotel is so posh, it even has a Romanow bar and a Rasputin cellar bar. The sauna and steam room were perfect for my relaxation needs.
